Altran Praxis gagne le titre d’associé du partenariat Niteworks en Grande-Bretagne
Altran Praxis, the international systems and software house specialising in the design, development and assurance of high integrity systems has been approved for Associate Membership of Niteworks. Established in 2003, Niteworks brings the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Industry together under unique commercial arrangements in order to help the MoD make better and faster decisions to maximise UK Armed Forces capability around the world.
“As an associate member of Niteworks, Altran Praxis hopes to utilise its expertise in software, systems and safety engineering to help the Partnership provide decision support to enhance the UK’s current and future military capability”, says Denton Clutterbuck, Head of Aerospace and Defence, Altran Praxis.
Niteworks Managing Director Bob Barton said: “The last 12 months have been phenomenally successful for Niteworks, with more than 60 projects completed on behalf of the MoD across the Land, Maritime, Air and C4ISTAR domains. We are delighted to welcome Altran Praxis into the Partnership and look forward to it injecting further industry expertise and subject matter knowledge into our activities.”
Niteworks is a partnership between the MoD, Dstl* and more than 90 Industry Partners and Associates. Its commercial model - which enables SMEs, large Defence companies and other organisations to work collaboratively whilst protecting company IPR - allows the MoD to engage in early and frequent dialogue with the industrial community without individual company bias. Using the breadth of its MoD and Industry reach, Niteworks helps the MoD analyse problems, examine options and de-risk requirements, saving money and avoiding cost overruns. Its ability to rapidly assemble mixed industry teams makes it highly responsive to the operational tempo.
